It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Well second most wonderful time of the year… It’s the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Seriously this is one time of the year I look forward to and I have been extra pumped for this years just given the current state of 2020… I needed something to look forward to haha and as usual the Nsale did not disappoint.
If you are not sure what I am even talking about let me give you a quick run down of what the NSale actually is. Basically every year around this time Nordstrom runs their Anniversary Sale. It is hands down the best sale they have ALL year because everything on sale is not old or last seasons stuff. It is all BRAND NEW styles for the upcoming season which happens to be my favorite season Fall! I have shopped the NSale for 3 years now and I am going into my 4th year of shopping it and 2nd year of covering it. When it comes to the sale they allow people to shop based on “Card Holder Levels”. With that being said, if you want to get first dibs on great pieces you need to 1. be a card holder and 2. shop A LOT haha. Luckily I am one and a half of those things. I have a card and I shop at Nordstrom enough to be at the Influencer level which allows me to shop a little earlier than other card holders. The sale also goes live to non card holders on August 19th but sometimes the good items are sold out by then. So it is always a good idea to be a card holder when it comes to shopping this sale.
Although the NSale is a really great sale (at least in my opinion) things can still get a bit pricey and when you are shopping with a credit card it can obviously get dangerous too. So it is a good idea to go for staple pieces and things that you know will last in your wardrobe for years to come. Personally I like to get good designer boots (still have a few pairs from years ago). I also love getting great designer bags and sunnies and of course staple pieces for my Fall wardrobe. Word of advice – Give yourself a budget, make a list and most importantly STICK TO IT!
This year I decided to do things a little differently and I got very specific with how I wanted to share what I found from the sale. Since I have not shopped it in person yet (I will be going on Monday YAY) I wanted to share my top picks from each category and also what I have in my wishlist. Oh and speaking of wishlist, it is a good idea to utilize that when shopping online so you know exactly what you want when it comes time to shop for yourself. Anyways, like I was saying I decided to share those with all of you on here and also on the liketoknow.it app so it is super easy to shop this year. After I go and shop on Monday I will do a try on over on my Instagram stories and update this blog post with that content as well.
So this is going to be your best place to reference back for all of the sale info and more! I hope any of you shopping love the sale this year and get some great finds. Remember you will also be able to shop the sale online once it is your time to shop it so the links below will make that super easy to do so. Let me know what your favorite finds are too & HAPPY SHOPPING!
