Here is to me finally getting back on my regularly scheduled blog posting (whoop whoop)! No but seriously it has been so bad with how much I have been slacking. But what a better way to get back into it than with a blog post all about my goals for this new year!
These past couple of months have been one heck of a ride. Between starting my very own blog, to growing my instagram, to graduating from nutrition school. 2018 really did end with a bang! But I cannot wait to see what 2019 has in store for me. With that being said here are some goals I have set for myself and hopefully will accomplish by the end of 2019!!!
BE CONSISTENT WITH MY BLOG POSTING
It can get so hard keeping up with a blog especially while working a full time job, trying to workout, eat right, have a social life, & the list goes on… But I seriously love blogging so much. I have never enjoyed doing something as much as I enjoy getting behind my computer and writing a post while also planning out content and ideas for it. I just wish I had more hours in a day to get it all done (don’t we all?). However, this year I really want to focus on my blog and create some amazing content for all of you out there! Hopefully one day this will be a full time career for me and I will really be able to dedicate every minute to it haha but for now it is just a really amazing hobby and hopefully my goal of becoming a full time blogger works out in the long run!
GET BACK ON MY HEALTH AND FITNESS GAME
Okay so I have always been really good about getting to the gym at least 5 days a week. But lately I have been slacking so bad with really pushing myself when I am working out. I really want to get back to where I once was with fitness. I want to start doing more HIITs and less lifting (even though I love lifting but I NEED cardio). I also am setting a goal for myself to get my nutrition back on point. Once upon a time I was SOOOO healthy but lately all I do is eat what is convenient (which isn’t always the best food) and my body is definitely suffering from it. & not in the I am getting fat type suffering but just internally I can tell that I don’t have the energy I once had and I know that that is all due to diet!
BUY MY VERY FIRST HOUSE
Yessss this year is going to be the year I finally buy my very first house! I want this so badly because it has been something that I have been waiting for for a while and I really cant wait to make it a reality! Especially because that means there will be plenty of home decor blogs!!!
Honestly I don’t even care where I travel but I just need to go somewhere! I absolutely love traveling and I know it can be very expensive especially while saving for a house but hopefully some fun little adventures await me this year!
This is something I really want to work on mainly because now that I am basically working two jobs it can get pretty hard to balance everything. So my goal for these next few weeks is to really start getting organized so that I don’t fall behind or get discouraged or overwhelmed because it happens and that’s when I stress and then its just all down hill from there. So I really cant wait to get more organized because I know it will help me out so much!
START HEALTH COACHING
This is a huge goal for me because only a few months ago I finished my nutrition school and am a certified health coach. With that being said it is extremely hard to juggle all these different jobs I have going on at the moment but as soon as summer is here I plan to really get my health coaching business started and hopefully I will have some clients to begin training!
ENJOY LIFE & BE PATIENT WITH THE PROCESS
This is my biggest goal. With all the new and exciting things starting to happen between blogging and health coaching. I need to remember to not get ahead of myself and not get discouraged if I do not succeed right away. Great things happen to those who wait and really work hard and I have seen such progress with my blog in just a few short months of starting it so I cannot wait to see what this year has in store for it and myself!
